The best people are taken too soon. My memories of Ray are that he loved his football and going to the Labour Club. He had a great sense of humour and a kind heart, and always took the time to listen and give good advice. I truly believe that Ray loved his life and valued most, Val and his family. He lived every day to the max. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him but he'll always be with us in our thoughts, and treasured memories.
